Currently in gen bio 2 at my school, learning about various phyla and (in my opinion) random and irrelevant things. For example, I just took a test where you had to know the angiosperm cycle, bryophytes life cycle, classifying fruits / flowers, as well as knowing terminology such as megosporangium, microgametophye, gametocyte, etc. I'm wondering if anything is actually worth retaining in this class, or would it be best to just dump the info after the tests.

Thanks for the advice.

haha I applaud your concern so early on but nah, after the test you won't need to know that stuff for med school/MCAT
