What is the Future Anesthesia Job market???

I was curious if anyone had any links or articles discussing the Anesthesia job market future. Anecdotal comments would be great too, but I was hoping there was some articles discussing this.

Many arrogant classmates have said that anesthesia was a dying field and that as surgeries become less invasive, anesthesia will be less and less necessary. This may be true, but seems impossible in our lifetime??

If the fact that there are so many positions available a reflection of the future job market???

The need for qualified anesthesiologists and nurse anesthetists is increasing at an alarming rate. The general population is aging and needing procedures, therefore the need for anesthesia services is rising. There is room for BOTH Anesthesiologists and Nurse Anesthetists in this market.
