Future What is the opinion of private equity investments in healthcare service companies like private practices?

I have noticed this has become more of a trend and I've also seen firms claiming they can help physician practices grow their "platform" yet all the employees are former chief officers at medical systems without a clinical degree (M.D., nursing, PA, etc.).

What's the opinion of clinicians of this growing trend?
