What is the pay, lifestyle, and job of Psychiatric NPs like?? How easy to get into the field from BSN.

Hi all currently not in the Nursing field i'm actually in the healthcare field, but in another profession. I am thinking about enrolling into a Psychiatric NP degree since I have a BSN but never worked as an RN. Would I still be able to get into one of those online Psych NP programs?
Also what is the pay and lifestyle of Psych NPs? I plan on working in NYC and just wondering about that. Is it possible to do remote as a Psych NP? K thanks.
