BCP = biology, chemistry, physics
SCIENCE = BCP + math + other science classes
CUM = everything college course you have taken in your entire life

CUM + SCIENCE GPAs are equally important, although some schools weigh SCIENCE GPAs more.

When they say science GPA are they only referring to the pre reqs or do they mean ALL of the science/math/chemistry etc courses you took...?

Yes. At my Columbia interview, they said they didn't care about my math grades.

Also, it shouldn't even be neccessary to post this but:

BCP = Biology, Chemistry and Physics so no, this is not the more broad category.

Other Science = Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Math as well as a few other classes so this IS the more broad category.

Some schools prefer one over the other. Some give both equal weight.

Predents uses the science GPA, not BCP. On SDN it is also the science gpa and not the BCP gpa that gets thrown around the most. Most people say that the overall science GPA is of the most concern to most schools. I have personally confirmed that OHSU uses the BCP and one above poster included Columbia in this group.

ITSGAVINC thinks that the Science gpa is a more accurate indicator of ability but I still hope that he will accept me to ASDOH this cycle. You are going to be handing out the acceptances, right Gavin?
