For the past couple of years I've been working at an HIV clinic of a public hospital, and I can tell you that some of our patients are your patients, i.e. in and out of prison a lot.Try working as a medical provider in a prison for a while. You'll learn all kinds of interesting things about humanity . Seriously. I worked here before and came back (for a number of reasons), but I can guarantee I'm never bored.
ED is never boring either.
This is certainly part of what I meant by "learning about life".
