What kind of accreditation should I be looking for in a MA program?

In terms of getting a MA in clinical psychology with a MFT focus, what kind of accreditation should I be looking for a school to have? Do they need to be accredited by COAMFTE? Does it matter if it's just a regional accreditation? Is this less important than in doctorate programs? It seems like a lot of them, the CSU's and Pepperdine, etc, aren't nationally accredited.

Thank you!

For what it is worth, I thought that MA programs weren't accredited. I think when I applied I looked at the state requirements for licensure and then looked at the course requirements of the program to see how they matched up.
