Hi,

I'm just getting set with a new practice that is office based, but attached to the hospital. I need help with picking out a monitor.

What kind of monitor do you use? Make and model? Cost? How many do you have? Do you use them in the fluoro room and have one next to each pre/post patient or do you have one to share in the pre/post area? Does your monitor have ECG cabapilities?

Thanks for your help.

OR or PACU and see what they got and talk your material management or biomed dep and ask what they got in Out pt setting. You need pulse ox, EKG, bp . Pick a brand that has good track in outpatient setting , depends on your budget

Datascope Passport.

3 leads for EKG, pulse-ox.
Built-in thermal printer for nurses to print strip for charts. (Though they then get scanned in).

Fluoro only. In recovery, if they are needing monitoring, they get a 1:1 MA for 30 min since last dose of Fent/Vers and a pulse-ox/HR.
