What MCAT breakdown would you and/or adcomms prefer?

My own scores and talking to people about it made me really curious about this. I did significantly better in verbal reasoning than the sciences and initially assumed this would send up "weak science" red flags. Others have expressed the opposite - that VR was their bogeyman and that many medical schools like a high VR, as that is one area that GPA's don't predict so well.

So assuming you made a 30 on the MCAT, would you prefer a balanced score or one biased more towards science or non-science?

Personally, I'd prefer a 10/10/10, but I'm interested, especially because I see a lot of high science scores posted around here with average VR scores.

balanced. Are you considering 8 an average VR?

with an unbalanced score I would hope to be 10+ in 2 categories and 7+ in the third so the 10/10/8 and 10/10/10 look good to me. just my opinion.

In my TPR class we discussed this. The instructor told us 10/10/10 is the best (most well rounded). Afterwards, you want your verbal to better, so 12/9/9 would be the second best.
