So I figure that majority of the people that are in these forums are going to be successfull in some way shape or form, so i figured that I might as well ask you all for some advice.

I didnt do so well on the mdogs and so i plan on retaking them in april. I also have decided to graduate a semester early (so ill be done in december) so that i can study and just chill till april/may. BUT after that, I am free for a whole year. Now, I have done research with my professor and have also done research with a animal research company, so i think i have that down. But i wanted to make some money in this year, what types of jobs can I do.

I feel weird asking this but I have never really given it thought, because i had always thought that i would be going straight to med school after i graduate, so im a little confused. ANyone have any ideas???

IMO your best bet is a research technician at your school. You already have experience so it wouldn't be hard to secure a good position. It would also give you a chance to work on getting some (more) publications and it would further strengthen your application. Finally, if you have difficulties getting accepted to med school, it could set you up for a masters degree or whatever.

Your other option would be to work in a hospital or clinic somewhere. It's possible to get paid for this, but most individuals with these jobs have some sort of certification.

Definitely do not get a job unrelated to medicine, no matter what it pays.
