My committee letter is this week but I've honestly don't know what they plan on asking. Of course, I'm expecting the usual "Why do you want to be a doctor?" and things of that sort. But if anyone could share other questions they've been asked, I would be very grateful. I really need to ace this interview. Thank you!

I had mine recently
For me they asked pretty much everything that would come up in a normal medical school interview except questions about the healthcare system or ethical questions

So leadership, teamwork, volunteering, shadowing, extracuriculars,

"what was your favorite class"
"why medicine"
"tell me about yourself"

From what I can remember:

1. Tell me about yourself
2. Why medicine?
3. What is your opinion on the Affordable Health care Act
4. What was your biggest success
5. What was your biggest failure
6. What is your opinion on doctor assisted suicide vs euthanasia
7. Do you think rationing medical care is a viable way to help with the problems we face in the medical system?
8. Is medical care a right or a privilege?
9. What was the last book you read for fun?

there were a few more, but these were the big ones I can remember.

Thank you for the advice! I actually got some very pointed questions about the healthcare system that I wasn't expecting, but was still able to come up with a response.
