i'm a canadian
3.7 ish GPA
33 Q MCAT

clinical volunteering, community volunteering, tutoring, awards in grade 12 and first yr, deans list, research (honors independent thesis)


schools i applied to are

NYMC
SUNY
Mt. Sinai
Albany
Albert einstein
Wisconsin MC
Jefferson
Case western
Penn State
Rosalind franklin (chicago)

I think NYMC is Canadian friendly. Hopefully they will consider you. Also, I'm not sure you should mention any awards given in high school....
 
As somebody who was in your place a year ago (although not Canadian), and is now accepted and about to start med school, I offer some words of wisdom:
Your application is very competitive, it has all the aspects that med schools look at. Make sure you get in your secondaries and recommendation letters ASAP to help your chances - the longer you wait, the less likely you are to be invited to interview (just because they will have seen so many more applications that more will have the chance to outshine yours).
But honestly, I wouldn't worry about it, I think you will definitely get interviews.
