What really happens on May 15th

Ok everyone,

so I'm a little confused on how this works. On May 15th do people have to hold 1 accepted spot and withdraw from other accepted schools. What if they don't withdraw, are they automatically dropped? What if they put their downpayment on 3-4 schools?

but yes, after may 15 you can only hold one acceptance. i think some schools will refund your deposit before then, but depends on the school.

ps. USC, if you're out there, acceptance off the waitlist would be a RAD b-day present 😛
