Amcas makes names and demographics
known early on and Dartmouth sends a secondary to everyone (who has selected the program).

I'm from Tulane. They send every single person the secondary application and then make a fortune off of it. They don't have to contact you. You can go online and find the secondary, do it online and print it off. Then you send it to Tulane med school and wait for AMCAS to finish work on the primary application. They will take a copy of the AMCAS with your secondary but need it to be verified for final admissions processes.

They will contact you but I don't remember how they will do it. However if you wanted you could send the entire application to tulane this afternoon without them saying anything to you. I'm pretty sure that's what I am gonna do next week.

for jefferson's, they send you a login id and a pin code that you're supposed to use to access the app. they haven't sent them out yet.

Bikini - I was wondering the same thing about the Mt. Sinai App myself. It's weird... when you click on the link from the download page to the app, it says to return by Dec. 2002. The app itself, however, says that it is for the entering class of 2002.

I emailed them about it two weeks or so ago, but haven't gotten a reply. Anyone able to get any definitive info on this?

Er....that's the app for the 2002 entering class. Did they send you the link for that via email or did you find it after looking around on the website? I'm afraid to fill out secondaries before being contacted by the school in case it does happen to be the wrong app or whatever.

the instructions are for 2002.
but on the application you can see that it says..
for the class entering 20__
as if you are supposed to put in 03.

you could call em and ask.

Umich will give out the secondary web address only when they have received your AMCAS verified data online. Otherwise, the site doesn't work for you because it's connected to the application data they have. You should get notification by email eventually.
