My application has been complete since Sept 5 for Irvine. My current status listed that I'm " On hold ". I called the office of admissions and told me that after careful review, they have decided to put me on hold but I am free to send them anything I want. What should I send them? A new LOR from my employer or a professor ? Any advice would be highly appreciated.

An LOR, A letter detailing your undying love for the school, new semester grades, a letter about new ECs you are doing, news of a new research publication.

what the heck? I was complete sooner and i've heard nothing oh man i hope rejection isn't on its way ...*sigh*

okay to answer the question, i agree with brett. make sure your letter is more than "I would love to attend UCI". you should actually ADD more information to make your application stronger.
