a friend of mine could not take the test a few months ago because they said he didnt have proper id. i believe he said he brought his passport and even a copy of his birth certificate...i guess he failed the polygraph test. what exactly are you supposed to bring? is it on the aamc website b/c i could not find it? thanks.

I thought it just had to be a photo ID that also has your signature. And the name on your ID has to match your registration. I'm also planning on taking my registration confirmation, although I heard this isn't necessary. Am I forgetting anything?

I took the MCAT today, and the only thing you need (and are allowed) to bring is an ID that has your signature on it. Everything else is put in a locker at the door. As long as you have your driver's license and fingers ready to go you are fine. At the start, they scan your ID into the computer and then take your fingerprint, and from then on you check in and out with your fingerprint. -Good luck-
