I was wondering what do first year medical student usually do for x-mas? In my school, we will be starting micro in Jan, and for a reason or another micro is one of the most feared courses in our school. The dept. loves the reputation of being evil, so I was thinking about doing some micro over the break. Which micor books are good and an easy read?

Enjoy having nothing to worry about for a few weeks. Spend time with the family and friends. Take a short trip somewhere. Whatever you do, don't even think of studying anything, no matter how difficult the upcoming course is supposed to be.

When you do get back to school, Clinical Microbiology Made Ridiculously Simple is a good review book.

Yeah u are probably right, even if I wanted to study in x-mas I don't think I could.
