What can you send in to "improve" your chances??

    letter of intent?
    letter of rec?
    additional EC activities?

Since I'm out of school already...no additional grades.

    thanks all

I did all of the things you've listed. I got in off of one of my waitlists, and am still on another. I only sent one letter of intent though: to the school that is my first choice. Good luck !

    any other suggestions?

in terms of additional EC activities...would it too late to strat a new activity and then just report that you are also doing this? because it would be too soon to as a rec. letter from the new place right?!?!?

It depends on the school. Some schools do not accept or factor in additional info. You might want to find out from the individual schools what you could submit to help your cause. Other than the three things you listed though, I dont think there is too much else.
