Hi all, currently a DO student.
I'm definitely interested in either Physical Medicine, Internal medicine, or Neurology. Wondering what are the most important factors for those residencies?

I know that the most important are board scores, LOR, interviews, clinical grades, etc, but what about research and pre clinical grades for the residencies I listed? Are Cs really bad in pre clinical? I might be getting one in gross anatomy unfortunately, despite working my ass off.

But I'm doing well everything else, but just wondering if research is mandatory?
