What do you guys usually wear when you shadow docs?

I try to dress like they do - long-sleeved, shirt (and tie for guys) with non-jeans pants. You'll get a lot of strange looks if you show up in jeans or shorts, but you don't need a 3-piece suit, either.

Most of all, wear comfortable shoes!! You'll be standing up a LOT and your lower back will let you hear about it later.

I wore nice pants, button up shirt and a tie. I just tried to look like I was going to a presentation and/or church. I didn't want to look like scum in other words. I even had some docs I shadowed in more rural areas, wearing polo shirts and kaki pants. They made fun of me looking like a pharm rep with my tie on but I was happy to look professional. Remember first impressions.

One time I was way late and showed up in jeans... whoops :\ Luckily that was like 5 weeks in so he forgave me, hahaha...
