Hi everyone,
I have a bit of a dilemna. I am in the process of making up an incomplete that I had taken in a certain course. Unfortunately, the procrastinator that has developed in me due to senioritis, has let the Inc turn into an FInc. Now, my gpa has actually stayed pretty strong (b/c overall I have very good grades). Also, as soon as I hand in two more lab reports, the grade that my professor assigns to me will REPLACE the FInc.

I have two interviews coming up. I will not be done w/the reports before the first interview, but possibly before the second. I know that I have to be honest and tell my interviewer of the situation (FInc is post AMCAS), but how do I do so without blowing my chance of admission? Does anyone have any advice on how I should approach this???

just be honest, the grade is going to be fixed eventually right? so just tell them that. they wont say "oh! youve got an FInc, sorry"

Don't even mention it. If asked about it, tell them you are working to replace it with a grade. There's no need to tell them that it is a FInc.

Completely agree with SwampMan, don't even mention it daisygirl. Avoid the topic at all costs. You're making up the grade, and when you do, they can see what it is. Until then, it's not any of their concern. It's been my experience that some schools start getting antsy when a few B's start popping up, I'd hate to see what they'd do if they saw an F. Med schools are looking for any reason to reject you, don't give it to them!!

Thanks everyone. I'm going to keep quiet about this one and as soon as I'm done I'll harass the people to get that grade changed quickly <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> 🙂 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> .
