For the typical 3 year fellowships in cardiology, what are the recently graduated cardiologists able to do? I've done a cardiology rotation as a ms3 and saw that bulk of cardiology work so far for the fellows involved 1. rounding w/ resident team 2. seeing pt w/ cv problems 3. icu 4. outpatient checkups 5. ekg reads 6. cardiac cath reads from cd 7. bedside echo's 8. cardiac cath's.
by the time people graduate from 3 y programs, do they still do cardiac caths? how is income and malpratice compared between general cardiologists who don't do caths and the guys who do caths all the time?
