GP. They are all rewarding if you don't mind working hard. Who says that specializing is the only way to make big bucks.

I would probably say endo. A busy and efficient endodontist can come close to $100,000 / yr.

I'm not sure if I'm reading this right, but the average general dentist makes about $150-170,000.

... and apparently not a very funny one, I guess. :)

OMS, endo and ortho can all expect to make BIG money. A half mill net is easily in reach for any of these specialists if they are willing to put in the time and can run a tight practice.
