What's it like being an ER doctor in the military?

I want to be a doctor and I also want to serve my country. I'm considering specializing in emergency care and I'm wondering what that would be like in the military. Does anyone have any experience in this? Is it virtually the same as working as an ER doctor at a civilian hospital? Any information would be appreciated.

This was probably the wrong forum. My bad.

Its pretty boring unless you're deployed to an active combat zone.

Think about it, most military service members are young healthy 20 something year-olds. Not exactly the kind of population that produces a busy ER with tons of sick patients. Also, be prepared for tons of paperwork and bureaucracy instead of actual patient care.
