What's more important for medical schools?

The composite score or the subscores?

I'm worried because two of my subscores are below what I wanted, but my overall composite score places me in a good percentile range.

Also, how come it's a percentile RANGE? Why can't we just know what percentile we actually ranked?

Please help!

Thanks gujudoc,

From your experience...what do you think about a 9, 9, 13, Q???

Please let me know!!!!!

I think different schools have different cut-off scores for the different sections. I believe it is usually no score below a 7 or 8 depending on the school. I think you're good.

I was wondering this too, since I got an 11 VR, 7 PS, and 11 BS. I'm hoping the high VR score cancels out the low PS score, since a lot of people struggle with the VR.

Thanks gujuDoc and everyone else......

you've helped alot...I think i might be able to sleep well tonite. Thanks again.

i'm kinda in the same boat here. I took August 2004 MCAT and recieved a 31Q with 12 physical 6 verbal and 13 biological. On AUGUST 2005 MCAT, i got a 29Q with a 9 physical 9 verbal and 11 biological. On one hand I went up in the section that I needed to go up in, but my other sections went down by quite a lot. How bad does this look?
