What's the deal with D.O. people?

ok, I find nothing wrong with d.o.'s, but what's the deal with certain people on this board saying it's just as hard to get into as m.d. programs. These kind of statements only make the d.o. lose credibility. You can give me the line about it being a different type of medicine, but please stop saying it's just as jard to get into. The 10 easiest schools to get into are all d.o.

Maybe some DO schools are harder to get into than the lower tier allo schools, maybe they aren't. Honestly, who cares?
