Whats the deal with new Qbank?

I have been using the "new" kaplan qbank for the first 4-5 weeks of studying for CK just to do questions while reading (Step up, kaplan lec notes, etc) to build my base before attacking UW. Seriously is it me or is this bank like ridiculously hard now, i am having trouble staying above 60% consistently and that is after doing questions that pertain to most recent reading. I did rather well on Step 1 so I am getting kind of disturbed....feel free to add your input.

On the bright side i am almost done with reading and will be starting UW next weekend but just wanted some input on wat exactly is going on.

It is hard..sometimes ridiculously and needlessly hard. That in mind just learn a little from each question and move on to uw.Pay no attention to your kaplan score they dont have an accurate score estimator. They estimate your performance based on a handful of question which they have data for.Use it simply to learn.

I don't know how everyone started balking on Kaplan, and started believing that UW was the only q bank that could yield a decent step score, especially for step 2. Either one is fine by my estimation. I only used Kaplan for steps 1 and 2, and had excellent scores both times. Never touched UW.

I totally agree. Ive been studying from Kaplan and go on to do questions from that subject and it seems really hard. I know many of these questions are bogus so I just try to get what they wanted me to know from this question.
