what's the deal with Northwestern's waitlist?

Does anyone know when Northwestern's waitlist starts to move? (if it moves at all...) Has any acceptances been offered to people off of the waitlist, or will this occur only after the May 15th deadline? Just curious here... Thanks for anything you may have to share!

From what I hear, waitlist movement for NW is very slight. Last year, supposedly, they only took 3 people off the waitlist.
