just one question, what is the whole process. Can someone guide me? It seems really confusing, like what are secondaries, and do you just get accepted? and when is the best time to take your MCAT's and how many times should i take them? Just the whole process from freshman year up to the time you get finally accepted, what do you have to do/go trhough/fill out forms/interviews..etc. thanks...for the help guys! 🙂

Yeah right. That's a lot of information. Its all on the web so look it up. I am also sure whatever college you go to will have an advisor to help you out. If you are still in high school then don't worry about most of it. Take it a year at a time and have fun. You have plenty of time to worry while you wait for secondaries, interviews and acceptances.

Holy cow!!!!!! After 2 years in this process, and debating the nuances of aug vs april MCAT, handwritten or typed secondaries, tracking every interview invite, and countless nervous walks to the mailbox, it is easy to forget that there are people out there that don't obssess over this process like we all have.

Welcome Vpathak1 to the glorious hell that is known as applying to medical school. Listen to most of what is said here on SDN, but ignore almost all of it. 😉 Best of luck, and remember to keep your eye on the goal, not the obstacles.
