Anyone know if Hahnemann's class is filled? Are they still interviewing? Anyone have any info, what's going on with Hahnemann

I interviewed there about a month ago. From what I've heard on other threads, they are going to interview until about mid May. Also, they're planning on giving out about 800 acceptances, with about 600 already given out. It takes about eight weeks to hear anything post-interview. Thats all I know. Hopefully others will add new info.

I have been complete since November 3rd. I haven't heard anything since. :(

I called them 2 weeks ago. As it turns out, my application there was not complete, due to a mix up with my recommendations (I swear that I recieved confirmation of my app being complete). To make a long story short, the woman I spoke to told me that their last day of interviews was on 4/12.

I hear 2nd week of Mat is last of their interviews. Don't worry even if you just get a wait list becasue this school has a high turnovwer rate and there wait list is very mobile.

I just hope that they're no longer sending post-interview rejections.

punkroc, April 12th? How reliable is this info? They told me they would interview through May (but that was when I called on March 19th). I was really hoping to get an interview there <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="frown.gif" />

MCP is definitely interviewing through 1st week of May. The people there are pretty cool-- laid back interview. Good luck everyone! :D

Dr. Will, are you including waitlistees in that 800 figure or are they accepting 800 plus more for the waitlist. If they accept 800, how will anyone ever get off the waitlist?

barb,

I'm not entirely sure that the figures include those who are waitlisted. This number came from someone who had an interview about two weeks after I did. When I was there, I had a smaller number (about 600 acceptances) which I'm pretty sure did not include waitlisted candidates. So, it's possible that the 800 acceptances does not include the waitlist.

MCP tends to offer acceptances to about 2x their actual class size, due to the massive amounts of movement they usually get. I could be wrong, however.

What kind of numbers does one need to have to get an outright acceptance? Also, is everyone on equal ground once he/she makes it to the interview stage?

how competitive is this program? what kind of numbers/experience do you need to get in?
