Hey everyone -- I've finished like 28 secondaries, and only 4 schools have told me that they have all the information to start considering my application. Could it be a hold-up on August MCAT scores? I didn't do anything about the MCAT scores because I thought they were automatically released to AMCAS this year, and thus to medical schools. Any thoughts? Do ALL schools send out notices that applications are complete?

I have encountered similar problems about being complete and having some schools delayed in their processing. I am just becoming complete at some schools, even though they have had all my materials for atleast three weeks. This is to be expecterd though, considering the rush of complete applications with the release of Aug MCAT scores.

Your MCAT scores are sent automaticly to all allopathic schools that you applied. Most schools will let you know when you are complete via email or snail mail, but others won't. If you are sure all your applications material has been submitted (including all LORS), my advice to you would be to contact admissions staff to clarify your status.

Yeah, I'm in the same boat. Some schools just don't email you when you're complete. You have to call.
