I got a sense from other threads that adcoms of diff. schools communicate w/ each other. In fact, I definitely know that at least in Baltimore, the adcoms of JHU, U.MD, and GW get together often for meetings amongst themselves and also w/ undergrad premed committees.

So, when a school X accepts you, do other schools find out about it? If not, does 1 brilliant kid get accepted to all top10 schools he applied to and holds 10 spots??? <img src="confused.gif" border="0">

I believe schools are notified on May 15th about which schools individual applicants have been accepted to. I could be wrong though.

I am pretty sure MD2BE06 is correct-

Schools have NO idea who's been accepted where until May 15--the date where you (the applicant) can only hold one acceptance. At that point, I am pretty sure they know where you've been accepted.
