Is it ideal to study abroad your last semester of senior year, or may you miss out on interviews for medical school?
When do schools usually invite to do interviews? All year long?

    Thanks!

in my experience interviews can start as early as late September, and as late as late February with the bulk being between November and January.

I have an inkling that interviewees before winter break have a better chance than after. I may be wrong.

I was interviewed (unexpectedly) in early April and accepted.

For rolling admissions I think the prime time is September to December or January.

BTW, why would you want to go abroad during your last semester at college? Aren't there things on campus you'd rather be doing with friends before they all scatter to the winds?
