when are the earliest interview dates generally?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Also, did anyone interview over the summer? Or did they start once school commenced?

the earliest i've heard of are the Texas schools, at which a couple of my friends interviewed in mid August 😱

WOW, i could have an interview date in my hand before i even get off a waitlist. Thtas pretty funny.

I interviewed at Slu sept 10, and the only reason I remeber this was because security was extra tight around 9/11 anniversary. Tulane and EVMS the week after. Hope that helps.

Einstein started their interviews late August/early September. Columbia starts interviewing in September, and, although I am not completely sure, I believe U Mich does, as well.

My first interview was 9/10, but Some people were interviewing as early as the end of August. When you get interviews, always ask for the first available! The early bird really really really has an advantage.

(I managed to get a 3.7 GPA as a grad student last Fall when I always took 'first available' and interviewed at 11 places. There was a lot of getting off a plane, getting a cab and making it to class 5 minutes late. Schedule all your classes for 5pm or later.)
