When do they start to interview?

look at the interview feedback for those schools and check out the interview dates for last year. that should give you a good idea.

a generic answer is early september onwards.

If you do a search for last year's thread, the top schools started to offer invites in mid september and interviews started in mid October. Just a generalization, of course some may be sooner or later.

Oh yeah, the "top tier" med schools all get together and interview all of you "top tier applicants" at the same time. Interviews are on a school by school basis...

I interviewed on the second interview day for UPenn last year and that was somewhere around early october...

Wash U also sends out interviews at least by mid october as well. Not sure about the rest...
