how early does applications start being sent to schools?

The application comes out during mid-May according to AADSAS. It takes 6 weeks for them to calculate your gpa and another 3 weeks or so to mail the application. So the sooner you submit your application, the sooner it will be processed and sent out to schools. If you submit your application during the first night it comes out, the application should be sent out around the end of June or July depending on how fast AADSAS handles it.

The application is available in the middle of May(May 15th?) and is available for submission on June 1st. If I remember correctly, last cycle the earliest applications were mailed to the schools around the end of June, but once you submit, any of the schools you apply to can view your application online.

If I take the DAT at the end of June, right around the time the App makes it to the school, can I fax the school my un-official DAT scores for review, or would the school have to wait to receive my official scores? (how long for the official scores to reach them?)

good question, i have the same one.

Sending your new scores through AADSAS is going to take a while..I would call each of the schools you're applying to and ask what their preference is. When you take the DAT, you can request schools you want your results sent to. If you would rather wait to see how you do, you can have the ADEA send your official results to the schools of your choice. Either of the latter two options are faster than going through AADSAS if your schools don't mind dealing with you directly (which most don't). Hope that helps.
