When should I file the FAFSA?

When is the deadline to file the FAFSA? I heard the dealine is March 1st (an hour and a half from now) I havent been accepted anywhere yet but I also havent been rejected so should I just get the codes of all the schools I applied to and send it in or do I still have time?

Deadline is June but apply ASAP even if you haven't been accepted yet

I'd check the website www.fafsa.ed.gov for that one...I remember Columbia and MUSC's priority deadline was March 7th. Good luck with everything.

everyone who hasn't filed their FAFSA, do it immediately. Even if you haven't heard from any schools. You can put upto 6 schools on the form.
