Hey guys, I'm kinda new to this and need some assistance. I'm currently a sophomore who spent the first two years taking everything except for math and science. So I'm actually starting my pre-med classes my junior year. when should I apply and take my MCAT?

Ha... yah your signature is a slight bit pukey...

I think you might be helped by one of the many pre-med "how to get into medical school" type publications that are out there if you're as green as it seems. Here's a link for a pre-med timeline to give you an idea of what to expect. As for when to take the MCAT- my (biased) advice is to take it your junior year during January. This gave me all of Christmas break to study for it unhampered, along with the first few slower weeks of schools. It definitely works better than trying to cram MCAT studying into regular school studying, plus it gives you a chance to apply and take it again later in the semester if you don't do so well.

    Best of luck!:luck:
