I'm behind on OChem, I need to take the last course of the series in my 2nd year summer, and I don't want to start studying for the MCAT without having even completed Ochem. Also, I have yet to touch any upper-div bio courses (except genetics) which I've heard give you somewhat of an advantage. So, start studying and take MCAT this August/September or wait til summer of third year with a full year of upper-div bio courses under my belt? Advice please!

I agree with pfaction. You should take it whenever you feel like you are ready. Trust me, this is a test that you only want to take once. So, study for it, prepare well, and get that 35+.
