hello..i'm going to ucsf in the fall too. sorry that i haven't responded sooner. Someone should make a facebook group though like "Pacific Class of 2010" did.
how about this one?
Also, congrats keibee! You can finally stop stressing! And I hope you're not spastic all the time in real life!
P.S. I'm just kidding about that last one there

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I finally got accepted today!!!!! YESS!!!
I'm definitely goona join you guys this fall!!
soooooooo exited right now, i don't know what to do!!!!
Whoops! I didn't see the link and I also couldn't find it when I searched. I will delete mine.
The whole city is hella expensive. There's no way around it.
Hey, I just noticed that my admission is provisional until they get my
record for the current and spring semester with the deposit. Obviously
I paid my deposit but I'm not taking any class now and in the spring
because i'm working. Did anyone get the notice of final admission?
Can they cancel my acceptance later because i'm not taking any classes
or i happened to miss one of the requirement classes?
The reason i'm worring about the pre-req is that on the website, it says
UCSF requires 3 units of biochemistry (cell molecular based). I didn't major
in science when I was in university, so I took all of my science classes at
CC, and as you guys know most of biochemistry classes are upper division.
The one that I took was a course name Molecular Biology and Biochemistry
3 units. Does anybody know if this is can fullfill biochem pre-req? I called
UCSF couple of times and they always say that they don't do any counseling
and I should ask school that I atteneded. So I asked the school and here
is what they said.
If the schools to which you are apply require an upper division
Biochem course or a Biochem course taught within a chemistry
department, this is not the course for you. If all they want is a
general biochem course taught within a bio major's program, this course
should suffice.
What do you guys think??? I'm currenty working right now and out of school.
I don't know what I should do at this point. Am I still safe?

Are you for serious? How did you pull that off?
All this talk of BioChem requirements got me scared, so I went online and registered for upper division BioChem for Spring term. On top of that I decided to take Molecular Bio Spring term as well just to be safe. I've already taken Bio-Chem 281, which for my school is a lower division course (and it's metabolic-based not cell molecular-based). Am I worrying too much?
I don't really understand that whole metabolic based and cell molecular based
thing... whats the difference??
It seems like UCSF has all sorts of extra prerequisites that other schools don't have.
Did anyone got this letter besides SFPredent?
We won't be getting these letters until we have degrees, right? There's no need to be getting anxious, man.
Unrelated, but where the heck are the rest of our classmates? No one is on Facebook and only a couple have posted in here. This makes me sad.
