Just curious, what happened to the Karma...did some people already reach Nirvana?

From what I've read, they are temporarily deactivating the karma. Karma-handouts will not be available in the lounge or the everyone forum because people have been racking up huge karma in here (the everyone forum on the other hand....). They are also setting up something were they would designate certain posters as experts or whatever.
