I was wondering where we can get the average MCAT scores and GPAs for various med schools across the US? I've been to us news and world report, is there any other ones out there?

-thanks

Welcome to SDN!! You can do a search on this site for past threads about this.

As soon as it's available, buy the latest edition of the Medical School Admission Requirements (MSAR)from the AAMC. I also bought the Baron's Guide at a bookstore and it has mcats and gpas for every school, whereas the MSAR does not (although I don't know how reliable it is).

In case you couldn't find stat averages for lower tier schools on usnews' website, try to do a compare school search...this will come up with all types of info and can compare up to 4 schools side by side. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" />

Here's a few links; I hope they help you:
