I am having mixed feelings about where and with who to live while in med school.

I am nervous about living with another student.
I hate apartment living, but I can't afford a house without sharing it with someone.

Considering how short the money will be, I don't know if it is better to suck up and live with someone or always be short on cash and live alone.

I'll be renting too, either a condo or apt. Just me and my wife... out in Chi-town!

Gotta find a place and a roommate.

I have been looking on Craigslist and actally found reasonably priced townhomes near WashU that have YARDS for my dog. That would be ideal. Apartment would do as well, since she's been living in one her whole life anyway.

It depends on the feeling I get at the second look weekend. I however (personally) think it would be best to have my own one bedroom apartment just for the first year. That way, I won't be disturbed and will have time to adjust to med school. Hopefully by the second year, I would have made good friends that will be willing to share an apartment (preferentially a house) with me.

The way things are going, I'll be living in a van, down by the river.
