Where should I look for a job? (EMT-B)

Last summer I worked at a summer camp and got paid well ($3750/8 weeks, free room and board).

But this year I need a part-time EMT job so I can study for the MCAT. What are my options? Where should I look for jobs? Should I just do something else?

Depends on where you are. Private services, depending on location, can start you anywhere from $8 to $11/hour.

How do you get in touch with a private service? I will be entering a BS/MD program in the fall, and would love to pick up something beyond a volunteer position.

Check if your county or state EMS agency has a listing of ambulance services in your area. Google "XYZ ambulance" where XYZ is the name of your city.

If you take a look at the governing body for your site, they should have a link to all the positions available for your area.
