where to find some info

everyone talks about how competitive certain residency programs are and how competitive certain specialties are. where is everyone getting this info? where can i find a listing or directory that tells me how "competitive" a program or specialty is? or at least groups programs or specialties into "very competitive", "competitive" or "less competitive" so that i can get an idea? thanks!

The Iserson book has some info about this, as does 1st aid for the match; however, these are only as accurate as the publish date which was a couple years ago.
