I interviewed on Feb 16th, have been accepted and will be attending NSU this fall (YEAH Class of 2008!! ) I was wondering if any current NSU students could give me an idea of some places to start looking for apartments. I noticed that there were a lot of towns that make up Ft. Lauderdale (Davie, Sunrise, Hollywood, etc) Which city is close enough to the university that it wouldn't take me a long time to get to school every morning?

NSU is actually in Davie. So Davie is probably your best bet for getting an apartment close. However, if you live in Hollywood you are closer to the beach!!!!!

shsgrad..
congrats and welcome to nova. Its doesnt matter where you live whether its in davie miami or hollywood. ANYWHERE IS CLOSE TO THE BEACH!!! of course i havent been to the beach since before my second year started..so that shows you just how much time you will have to go...

many students choose to live right across from the school at Cedar Key. i live at a really nice place called Palm Trace landings which is gated and like 3 mins away. there are plenty of places near the school. I believe the NSU residency office has alist of all the comlexes around with phone numbers...

take care
