the admission email?

do they want brief, straightfroward updates?

i started working for a senior PI at my top choice school, basically hes like the chair of clinical lab

is that worthy of a update letter?

I literally called every school I applied to (25+) and asked which way is the preferred method.

Of my schools, only UMich, Drexel, Loyola, and Tufts wanted a hard copy mailed.

cool thx!

ya, I think it's a bit excessive to send a hardcopy with jut 2 lines

ps: "let's make love and listen death from above"

Same boat here, coralfangs! I'm about 90% sure of getting a job offer later on today for a research position at my top choice medical school! ;) Looking to update all of my schools as well.

As far as where to send your update letter, I'd say the admissions office is a good place to start.

As far as how to start them, I generally begin with "Yo yo wassup! Check this out. Since hitting you up with my AMCAS application, I......"
