Nobody would know unless they attended all these schools. They are all good schools and I would be more than thrilled to attend any of these schools. But, UCLA would probably be the best for its name and reputation. It will look awesome to have a diploma from UCLA School of Dentistry in your office wall.

It's very hard to decide which dental school is the best school.

In my opinion, all of these schools are awesome and they all have pros and cons. There is no question that I would be extremely happy if I get an opportunity to attend any of the schools listed.

If you are mainly concerned about how general public will view about the reputation of the schools, then all of these schools are pretty well-known except Western University. Though this does not mean that Western University has bad reputation by any mean. It's just that Western University opened its dental school just 2 years ago. It will take time to build reputation and generate competent dental practitioners.

If I were in any of your situation, I would simply do extensive research for each schools or even yet, attend their tour to see which school fits you the best. Please do not get carried out about the "NAME" of the schools. In the end, we have same goal to become dentists to provide best oral care as possible to the public.

Wow, I'm surprised at the opinions of SDN because although all the schools listed here are great, I hear people praising UCSF and UOP over UCLA and USC, respectively. My dentist graduated from UCLA and her sister (also a dentist) graduated from UCSF and both are great at what they do.

Also, I go to a pretty Pre-Dental heavy school and last year no one I knew got into UCSF while 2-3 got into UCLA. So to answer OP's question, I think UCSF is hardest to get into (though it varies per individual of course) while USC might be easiest, probably because it's just so expensive.

UCLA hands down. This has been my dream school since middle school. The campus is beautiful as well as the surrounding neighborhood westwood. In my case its closest to home, cheapest, and the best (if you judge a school by how many people end up specializing in something which I plan to do). Although, I think every school has its benefits. UOP is 3 years, UCSF is a chill campus (from what I hear), and LLU is a very giving college (charity wise). I really want to stay here in cali but I know competition is ridiculous for all of the cali schools, hopefully I get in somewhere here!
