Hey everyone! I know y'all are gonna shoot be 'cause i know i've seen this question up here before - i just can't find it in a search. I'm trying to pick classes for my last semester (i've already applied/taken the mcat) and am looking to take whatever will help me most in med. school (i've only taken basic pre-med requirements so far). does anybody have any suggestions? Also, two different biochem's are offered - a general one semester overview and the first half of a two semester sequence which covers the material in depth. Which would be better? thanks!

I would assume general overview biochem because it will provide you with the foundation by which you can add information that you will get (en masse) from med school.

PEople on this board have talked about the advantages of:

physiology/anatomy, histology, immunology, pharmacology, developmental class

i believe roughly in that order. i think most people think the first two I listed are really helpful and the last three are a nice bonus if you have the time.
