Which course to satisfy math requirement?

For one of my secondaries, I can use either calculus or statistics as a required course. I've taken both, but received a significantly better grade in the stats class compared to calc (which is the black mark on my transcript). I am considering going with presenting stats as my course to fulfill the requirement as to not draw more attention to my calc grade... but would it be best to suck it up and show that I did take calc? And if so, can I use a second semester in a sequence to satisfy the one-course requirement or just the first one? Any thoughts on this would be appreciated
